Diversity Read 2016: Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson

The law library is pleased to again host a community diversity reading program open to BC law students, faculty, and staff.  This year our community read will be Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption by Bryan Stevenson.  Mr. Stevenson is the founder of the Equal Justice Initiative in Montgomery, Alabama.  In Just Mercy, Stevenson recounts his experiences as a lawyer working to assist those desperately in need, reflecting on his pursuit of the ideal of compassion in American justice.  The Law Library has purchased several copies of the book and they are available for check out now.  As we move closer to Diversity Month (March) keep your eyes open for information about a community book discussion!
