As per usual, circulating print items from the Law Library collection may be checked out by bringing them to the Information Desk. All items will be placed in quarantine for 96 hours after their return to reduce the risk of infection. Items in quarantine are unavailable for circulation or use.
Due to the need to quarantine materials for 96 hours after every circulation, the Law Library is unable to offer physical course reserves for the Fall 2020 or Spring 2021 semesters. We encourage students to purchase a copy of their own required texts, including Bluebooks.
For the same reason, the Library is also unable to lend out useful items such as laptop and phone chargers, headphones, and seat cushions. The Library will be loaning lawn chairs, however, so that students can make themselves comfortable outside in a socially distant manner. Students are expected to wipe down chairs after use.
The lending period for many materials normally on Permanent Reserve, including Blue Books and the Examples and Explanations series, has been extended to 4 days to reduce the need for frequent renewal.
Interlibrary Loan services are fully operational, including physical item requests. Timelines for interlibrary loan requests may be affected by the availability of interlibrary loan services at other institutions.
To submit a request, sign into your ILL account and complete either a Copy or Loan Request form, providing as much citation information as you can.
