Popular Study Aid Platforms

WestAcademicWest Academic Study Aids

The West Academic Study Aids platform provides unlimited online access to a wide variety of study aids including hornbooks, legal outlines, case briefs and exam prep materials. Students have access to over 20 series, including the Acing Series, Black Letter Series, Office Hours, Concise Hornbooks, Exam Pro, Nutshells, Sum & Substance, and Short & Happy Guides. We recommend that you create a personal account using your B.C. email. Creating a personal account will allow you to take advantage of features like highlighting and taking notes as well as downloading study aid material to the RedDesk Mobile App for offline access. 

Aspen Learning Library

The Aspen Learning Library provides access to a range of supplemental sources to aid in your studies including outlines, case briefs and sample exam questions. Popular series include Examples & Answers, Glannon's Guides, Emanuel Law Outlines, Emanuel CrunchTime and Casenote Legal Briefs. We recommend you create a personal account to take advantage of highlighting and note taking features and the ability to download materials to the mobile app for offline access. 

 

CALI Lessons

CALI Lessons are interactive, computer-based tutorials published by the non-profit Center for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction. With BC Law's CALI membership, you have access to over 900 interactive lessons in over 30 legal subjects. You must register an account with CALI to access the lessons which requires Boston College Law School's authorization code. You can obtain the code by contacting the Law Library's Information Desk. You only need to use this authorization code the first time you register.  You can find registration instructions here under the heading User Accounts.
