Mantelpiece and Mirror
Level 2, Rare Book Room
The marble mantelpiece and gilt mirror in the Rare Book Room were gifts to the Law Library. Previously, they were part of the White House furnishings; they were removed in the course of a renovation during President Truman's administration.
