Legal History Resources

A guide to the Boston College Law Library's legal history resources and other resources available for free.

Basic tips

If you have the name or other identifying information for a particular publication, search the BC Libraries catalog for that information. The record should provide information on where you can access the title in print and online. This search would include holdings in the Daniel R. Coquillette Rare Book Room, including yearbooks, statutory compilations, student notes, commonplace books, and more. Additionally, our Brooker Collection, which has been fully digitized, includes deeds, litigation documents, wills, and other legal documents that allow us to witness legal history in action.
