Resources for Research Assistants

How We Can Help

The Teaching & Research librarians are available to consult with you on your work as a research assistant. While each faculty member has an assigned Library Liaison assigned as their main contact point in the library, you can reach out to any available member of the Teaching & Research team. We can help you to conduct efficient and accurate research by:

  • Advising on research strategy
  • Recommending databases
  • Providing training on unfamiliar legal sources or databases
  • Locating hard to find resources
  • Constructing and running effective searches
  • Recommending secondary sources
  • Database selection
  • Answering questions on the interlibrary loan process

Ways to Contact Us

Book a Consult

BC Law students can book a consultation with a Teaching & Research Librarian. We are available to meet with you in person and by Zoom. Book an appointment when it works best for your schedule.

Visit Us

Visit us in person at the Reference Desk, Monday - Friday from 11am - 1pm when classes are in session. Or just swing by the Teaching & Research wing.  Any of the Research Librarians will be happy to help.  We all have an open door policy!
